Motor vehicle insurance relates to mechanically propelled vehicle running on the road of Mauritius and Rodrigues. Legal liability for all vehicle users is subject to the Road Traffic Ordinance 1962.

Covers available:

Third Party Only.
Covers legal liability for death of or bodily injury to third parties, damage to properties belonging to third parties.

Third Party & Fire.
Extends third party only cover to include own damage caused by fire.

Comprehensive.
Gives protection if one's vehicle suffers accidental loss (including theft) or damage, or if one causes damage to another person's property or causes bodily injury to third parties.
