Private Car

The following types of vehicle are rated as Private Cars irrespective of whether goods are carried or not :

• Cars of private type (including three- wheeled cars).
• Cars having a dual purpose body.
• Cars fitted with passenger-seated body which has been altered or added to for the purpose of carrying goods or samples.
  

used for social domestic and pleasure purposes and for the business or professional purposes of the Insured.

Covers available:

Third Party Only.
Covers legal Liability for death of or bodily injury to third parties, damage to properties belonging to third parties.

Third Party & Fire.
Extends third party only cover to include own damage caused by fire.

Comprehensive.
Gives protection if one's vehicle suffers accidental loss (including theft) or damage, or if one causes damage to another person's property or causes bodily injury to third parties.

In addition Mauritian Eagle Insurance can provide you with a rental or loan car following a claim, riots, strikes, malicious damage and cyclone cover at additional premiums.
