Mauritian Eagle receive an award for Quality Commitment (NQA-Level 1) during the 2003 National Quality Award Prize Giving Ceremony, organised by the Mauritian Quality Institute, at Sofitel Imperial Hotel, Flic en Flac, on 17th December 2003.

The National Quality Award is an annual Award to recognise Mauritian companies for performance excellence. It is modelled on the U.S Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award criteria with three levels of participation.

Level 1 is designed for organisations starting their journey to excellence and showing commitment to the use of continuous improvement principles in their operations.
